
Distalmotion has announced a partnership with Proximie, a health technology platform, to globally extend the capabilities of its Dexter robotic surgery system.
The collaboration will provide customers of Distalmotion with access to Proximie’s healthcare platform, which is designed to offer telepresence, content management and data-driven insights.
By integrating Dexter with Proximie’s advanced healthcare platform, surgeons can now collaborate regardless of their location. This is aimed at improving patient outcomes and increasing operating room (OR) productivity.

In 2022, Distalmotion raised $90m (Sfr76.59m) in a funding round led by Revival Healthcare Capital to accelerate the commercialisation of its Dexter surgical robot across the world.
